Traveling Canning Workshop

Service Description

Gather a group of folks who wish to learn this incredibly useful skill. We will come to your home or welcome you to our space, for a hands-on workshop that will leave you feeling ready to preserve all kinds of foods by water bath and pressure canning methods. All materials provided, as well as a take-home guide for each participant. Attendees get to keep the foods canned during the workshop (1 jar per person). Foods will vary based on season and availability, and may include fruits, veggies, meats, and broths. minimum 8 participants; max 20 participants tuition: $30/person host (the one who gathers the group) receives 50% off workshop located at Rooted Free; 100% off for event at your home $30 deposit required to hold your date - please contact us about available dates before doing this.
